There have been recent changes in the BVI offshore legislation which requires new information for the due diligence process.
All directors, shareholders and in the case of a nominee director or shareholder, the beneficial (real) owner, must provide the following documents:

Clear copy of passport with the photo ID and all the holders' information. Both pages opened (butterfly), when copied must be certified by either a Notary Public or Banker or by your Embassy.
Proof of residence. Your address may be verified by producing any one of the following – A clear and scanned copy of your valid drivers license which has your address, or an original and recent utility bill from your residence such as electric or telephone bill, or a recent original bank statement.
Original reference from your bank or lawyer or accountant or your broker or business partner.

These documents must be provided to us by courier posted via FedEx, DHL or UPS only. They must be in English or a certified translation into English.
For processing of the company documents for incorporation to begin, we must be in possession of the documents and the payment.
If these new requirements are too complicated, you may wish to consider the alternatives of Belize or Dominica.
